Correct Licenses.
3. What does Cargo insurance cover?
Cargo insurance covers any damage caused
by negligence. Normal wear and tear is not covered. This insurance
covers damage done to your merchandise or vehicle while it is in
transit. There is no other insurance. The auto transport carrier is the
main and only coverage. (Exception: Automobile personal contents are not
covered by any carriers insurance and in most cases lost, stolen, or
otherwise will not be covered, acts of God not covered)
4. Can a consumer put personal items in vehicle to be
shipped?

However some carriers can and will charge additional fees for extra
weight. (Refer to Question #3)

7. What is door to door-v-terminal to terminal service?
ATA’s service option for door to door would have to be a
local parking lot for pickup and delivery. In rare instances would your
merchandise be delivered to your front door. Our trucks are prohibited
in residential areas. Most vehicles are transported on large transport
trucks and it is difficult to navigate in tight locations such as
neighborhood streets with low handing tree branches, street signs, and
power lines. It is not safe for your vehicle or merchandise or others
merchandise that may be on the transporters trucks. In most cases the
driver will contact you and make arrangements to meet you in a local
parking lot.
